ABOUT
I’m Sinä, a pianist working mainly in the field of contemporary music.
This is where I share performances, projects, and the thoughts
that stay with me while working with sound.
I see music not only as something to be performed,
but as a way of asking questions, exploring memory,
and staying present.
Contemporary music can feel like a vast forest —
rich, alive, and full of unfamiliar paths.
If stepping into it feels overwhelming,
OOLiM hopes to be a small bridge leading inward.
Somewhere in that forest, sounds are hiding,
unfamiliar yet never frightening,
living between silence and resonance.
With the piano, new voices and languages emerge —
mingling with wood, wind, wool, and metal,
their timbres leaning gently into one another.
In this space, you’ll find traces of what I’ve been working on:
concerts, project notes, artistic research, and short reflections,
along with links to my YouTube channel, OOLiM Studio.
Wherever you are,
I hope you find a sound here that quietly resonates with you.
You’re always welcome to wander.
Warm regards,
Sinä Hwang
