Roots and Routes(2026)

Roots & Routes follows the many paths through which African musical traditions have travelled, transformed, and found new voices at the piano. From spiritual-inspired works to the concept of African Pianism and contemporary diasporic expressions, the program traces journeys of memory and imagination across continents. Beyond cultural and geographical boundaries, these works speak to a deeply human longing—for home, for connection, and for belonging.
